Many deaths before and likely more after...

RIP:
Tipto Goadytoes I --- Ruin, named Spider Prince, CR 10, Sunken Sewer on elite. Incapacitated then killed by an errant acid blob missle. Ruin never missed and easily penetrated Tiptoe's heavy Adamantine protection. Feyyd survived and attempted to recover the body, but Ruin wouldn't budge. Body unrecoverable. Bank items passed to clan. Bodily gear lost.

Aroto Goadytoes I --- Blade trap in Alchemist laboratory. Questing for Healing Elixer on elite. Thought Aroto could time it. Thought wrong. The rest of the party wisely left the body alone. Equipment unrecovered.

Aroto Goadytoes II -- Krung the Brutal. Named Ogre in Waterworks part III. Krung killed two, the other being Lehdonil. Body bravely recovered by Meidic and Caisson. Heirloomed item: +1 Shortsword. Other bodily equipment sold and sent to Sublime guild mule.

Aroto Goadytoes III -- Hobgoblin Captor in Sewer Rescue on hard. 34 point critical. Body recovered by Narcism who avenged the death.

Aroto Goadytoes IV, Ranger 2/Rogue 1 -- Wight Priest behind mage runes in Shan To Kor part I on hard. Aroto mysteriously passed out right when the door was opened. By the time he came to his senses, Zen the Cleric was incapacitated. Vilhelm was held and Caisson was too. Frantic attempt to sunder or trip the vile creature failed, but enough damage to get his attention. Like an efficient deathmage from the depths the evil priest spun toward Aroto, cast Curse, Hold Person, Searing Light. A deadly combination. Vilhelm stabilized and Caisson somehow avoided death. They steadied thier nerves, and managed to regroup. A barage of Vilhelm's Magic Missiles deystroyed the over-confident dark priest. Aroto and Zen's bodies were recovered. Heirloomed item: +1 Battle Axe of Lesser Reptilian Bane.

Hecho Goadytoes XVII, Rogue 2 -- Spider's critical acid spit in Sewer Rescue Normal.

Boto Goadytoes, Fighter 4 -- Held by a Shaman, Scorched by another. Durk's on Hard. Solo.

Aroto Goadytoes V, 1 Ranger -- Witchdoctor in Durk's Normal

Lepto Goadytoes II, 6 Paladin/1 Sorceror -- Arcane Sceleton horde in Delaras part I elite. Last words: "I didn't know Full Plate cunducted electricity so well..." The party fought bravely but was lost. Including Naplet, Dudlee and Mortani.

Aroto Goadytoes V, Ranger 3 -- Lost in a cave while exploring Cerulean Hills solo.

Jorto Goadytoes II, Wizard 2 -- Shaman's Weekly Scorching BBQ, Waterworks part 2 hard.

Jorto Goadytoes III, Wizard 3 -- Unknown

Lepto Goadytoes III, Fighter 2 -- Last words: "Shields are for Priests..."

Lepto Goadytoes IV, Fighter 3 -- Durks on hard. Troglodyte Shaman. Three-person wipe including Wookin and Silkwood. A torrent of hideous elemental spells left Lepto paralyzed and helpless near the Shaman. The Shaman, satisfied that it had triumphed, paused to feast on Wookin's frozen corpse. Silkwood bravely attempted to sneak past the wretched beast to save Lepto, but her bleeding wounds left a trail of blood the reptilian mage could easily track. Lepto, paralyzed but still able to see, watched in horror as the shaman's spell froze Silkwood in her tracks. Lepto's agonized groan alerted the beast. The last thing he saw was his own leg in the lizards maw...

Dento Goadytoes, Sorceror 3 -- Sewer Rescue Elite. Famous last words: "I can time this trap. I do it all the ti...". Body recovered by Tolden.

Pinto Goadytoes, Cleric 1/Fighter 1/Rogue 2 -- Kobold's New Ringleader Elite. Bloodknuckles 1-2-3 combo put Pinto 6 feet under...

Markto Goadytoes, Bard 4 -- 3rd in Depths series on normal. Party wipe from named Undead Wraith. Syncopation, Zhee and Vaele fought valiantly but perished with Markto.

Palto Goadytoes, Cleric 5 -- Depths of Despair on normal. Troglodyte Shaman. Mortiana escaped but could not recover the body.

Phito Goadytoes, Cleric 2/Sorceror 1 -- Recover the Lost Tome on Elite. Mis-timed a trap. Body recovered by party (Elum, Ur, Tayzer).

Lepto V, Aroto V and Hecho XVIII, Fighter 5, Ranger 5, Rogue 5 -- Last seen boarding an airship for the mainland after being raised via scroll in Purge the Heretics Hard, Purge the Heretics Normal and Cult of the Six part VI normal.

Coto, Paladin 12 -- Taming the Flames on elite. Killed in a freaky flame spout that managed to hit Coto three times in an instant. Coto went from 200+ to <10 in an instant.
(Combat): You suffer 85 points of damage from Trap:Fire; 30 was stopped by your damage resistance.
(Combat): You suffer 81 points of damage from Trap:Fire; 30 was stopped by your damage resistance.
(Combat): You suffer 73 points of damage from Trap:Fire; 30 was stopped by your damage resistance.
(Combat): You were killed by something.
Coto recieved a Raise Dead from groupmate Kaland. Thanks to Temryn for recovering the body first.

Sorry to hear about the death anyways!

It's been a long time since the Goadytoes updated the log. Coto lived PD life to the fullest. I allways envisioned something heroic like an epic end boss fight or desperate retreat from unkillable foes. But it wasn't to be. Coto was running along a ledge with a fire spout shooting out. The spout managed to instantly hit three times dropping him from full health.

To all the brave questmates who dared quest with Coto, I thank you. You allowed Coto a spectacular PD life.

Sounds like a lag spike, very sorry to hear about this, the traps on elite do a ridiculous amount of damage.

If Kaland rezzed you, aren't you still alive and kicking???
